Spine Fracture

Fractures of spine can be because of three main broad categories

Simple osteoporotic fractures ( age related weakened bone )
Post traumatic fractures (e.g after road traffic accident or fall from height)
Pathological fracture (some disease causing weakening of bone like infection, tumor)

TREATMENT

As per the cause of fracture, clinical examination findings and radiological (x ray, CT scan,MRI scan) findings, clinician decides either conservative management or operative management .
